The River Table Class
Starting February 28th,
Prerequisite: any Intro or Fundamentals class form here at The Wood Joint.
(17 yrs. and up)
You’ve watched the video’s online, now it’s you chance to make one yourself.
In this, up to, 6-week course you will take a live edge slab from the remnants
of a tree and turn it into your own family heirloom project.
Lumber is not included and should be purchased by first class. Call with any Questions. An additional materials fee will be assessed for the epoxy to be used on your project.
Saturday Intro Classes
5-Weeks 10am to 1pm
Geared towards adult beginners, 17 yrs. and up. This 3 hr. a night, 5-week course is a hands-on introduction to the Skills and Safety technics with the woodworking tools in a wood shop. You will acquire knowledge and confidence around the shop, using the Table saw, Bandsaw, Jointer, Planer and the Combination Chop saw. Learning the ins and outs of these machines and putting your new found skills to work building a tool tote and a small decorative box. Cost includes all materials.
