Our Mission Statement
To present a program of woodworking classes and activities to provide educational resources and instruction to everyone who has a shared interest in woodworking and furniture making, as well as a shared interest in sustaining this time-honored craft.
The woodworking school is a place of teaching, learning, building, evolvement, socialization, community, mentorship, fun, and creativity. It is a place where both young and old gather; where youth expand and explore potential career options; where women find a place historically not open to them; where adults, older adults, and seniors find new purpose and activity; and where the elders and masters pass on wisdom as their legacy.
